I have decided to sell my rare 1981 JDM spec Nissan Gazelle S110 to allow me to focus on other projects. Nissan created the "Gazelle" badge specifically to sell the car through its exclusive Nissan Bluebird Store dealership network in Japan, whereas the sister Silvia was sold through Nissan Prince Store. Design wise, Nissan switched from coke bottle rounded shapes of the 1970s and with the S110 embraced a sharp, sharp-edged design aesthetic. If you are a rallying fan, then you will know that Nissan’s group B offering, the 240RS uses same S110 platform.
I am the first UK owner and car is Tax, MOT and ULEZ free. The body work is in excellent condition for its age finished in classic Nissan white, it is powered by twin spark Z20 engine and specification list is awesome for an early 80’s car. Features include electronic fender mirrors, air conditioning, a cutting-edge electronic / digital instrument display cluster, Cruise control and a high-fidelity sound system, Japan’s first trip computer ( – think Halda !), Electric windows, Power assisted steering, An on-board computer system that speaks alerts in Japanese to the driver. The Gazelle was effectively the top spec model and is the epitome of 80’s styling.
Overall the car drives really well and is a great cruiser and grabs a lot of attention and compliments when out on the road with its retro futuristic appearance.
I will supply the factory gazelle alloy wheels if new owner wants to retain stock look. Genuine enquiries only. £8, 750 ONO
