Jaguar E Type Series 2 FHC (Fixed Head Coupe)
1970, Genuine UK Right Hand Drive in its original colour of British Racing Green with Green Suede interior complete with head rests.
Still retaining its original engine and manual gearbox, matching keys (door locks and glove box) plus the original chassis number stamp is still visible on picture frame.
Unverified 50k miles but believed to be genuine, 4 previous owners, some history along with a range of various original Jaguar tools, manuals, brochures/ literature etc. and Heritage Certificate, the car is an older restoration to a high standard which was carried out by the previous owner of over 30 years, but the car has had very little use since.
Current owner has exhibited the car extensively, including several times at the Birmingham NEC, winner of various local shows and regular feature’s in the E Type magazine.
Since owning, the current owner has fitted
reproduction Dunlop wheels, along with period style Blockley tyres, upgraded the front brakes with Zeus 4 Pot Aluminium calliper’s and vented discs, fitted 123 electronic ignition, a Moto-Lita sports steering wheel, changed the rear exhaust silencers/ number plate for Series 1 style (which can be reversed) and carried out various minor repairs, servicing, and engine tuning etc.
Various spare parts including the original spoke wheels (and tyres), brake discs and calliper’s, rocker covers (series 1 rocker covers currently fitted), rear exhaust silencers and wooden steering wheel, are all included in the sale.
The car is Tax/ mot exempt and assistance with delivery can be arranged if needed.
