Triumph Daytona T595 – Lightning Yellow
In very good condition for age. Registered Oct 1998 with an S plate. I have owned this bike since April 2016 and in that time have added about 1400 miles to the overall mileage. The bike is standard apart from handlebar raisers and the later (Triumph) chrome exhaust. The MOT has recently been passed and expires 19th May 2027. It has been regularly serviced for the last six years (invoices provided) complete with oil/ filter change. I start the engine regularly and keep the bike in a dry warm garage.
During my ownership I completed/ added/ updated the following:
- Replaced cracked Mirrors (pair) with new original Triumph parts.
- Colour matched seat hump (seat will also be supplied).
- Replacement rear Hugger with new original Triumph part.
- Replacement chain guard with new original Triumph part.
- Fitted handlebar raisers
- Replaced cracked rear subframe (stripped and powder coated)
- Radiator and oil cooler guard fitted.
- Gear lever rubber fitted
- Front mudguard extension kit (not fitted)
- Belly Pan heat pad
- Front forks oil seals
- Side stand switch
- Replacement rear subframe (newly powder coated)
- Tank pad (underside)
- Radiator hoses
- Air filter
- Fuel filter
- Fuel pump (and internal hoses)
- Battery strap
- Spark plugs
- Fuel couplings
- Intake grills
- Fan and assembly
- Indicators x 2
- Battery Yuasa (01/ 26
- New Tyres Bridgestone Battlax S21 (5/ 25)
- Foot rest lowering kit (not fitted)
- iACV hoses replaced
Standard exhaust, pillion seat, spare handle bars, paddock stand and other parts as shown are included in the purchase price. The bike is very good for its age (over 20 years old!) but is not perfect. Cosmetically there are a few little scratches and marks but nothing major. The tank has about three bubbles which I have shown in the pictures. Both wheels are good but have a couple of very small areas of paintwork missing. Please don’t expect perfection!
Available for inspection most times/ days of the week. No test rides unless insured (proof required) and full cash price left with me. Of course, with a bike of this age it is not perfect but a very good working example with paper work to support its history. V5 is in my name. 2 keys supplied with bike. There is no warranty either implied or given, but you are welcome to get the bike inspected (at your cost).
Any questions please ask. It runs well and has a good service history. The all-important valve check/ clearances were done at about 21, 000 miles (I have the original receipt from a Triumph dealer). Datatool alarm has been uninstalled (works with two fobs). Original tool kit comes with bike.
I have lots of original paperwork with the bike including original PDI, all MOT’s, Handbook and service book, service receipts and tax disks!
I am selling as no time to ride although I love the triple engine.
