1973 Volvo 1800ES for sale, in Gold with black interior, seats and trim, brown carpets. MOT until 22/ 12/ 26. 2 keepers, including myself. Historic vehicle so no Road TaxStarts on the button and runs well. Manual gear change, with smooth overdrive. Delayed project, the car has sat in a garage for half a dozen or more years now, and I am losing some storage space later in the year, so unfortunately the car will need to go to a new home. The car looks to have had work to / a new speedo at some point with the miles reading only 550 miles, but the MOT history indicates 134, 288 kilometres. I would suggest that the 134, 288 kilometers (circa 80k miles) is probably a more accurate refection of the cars correct mileage. Bad bitsThe paintwork is showing its age, with small areas of micro blistering on a number of panels. Surface rust to the base of the nearside door and sill section. Window screen leaks, it looks like it may have had a very poorly fitted replacement at some time. Speedo does not work correctly, it over reads the speed. Small paint chip to the edge of the bonnet that has gone rusty. No history apart from a couple of MOT’s I believe this would not take a great deal of work to make into a very nice car, it starts and drives very nicely for a 53 year old car. £7, 500 ONO - to a good home only.
