Description
1927 Austin 12/ 4 Mulliner 2 Seater (+dicky).
Restored around 6 years ago, and then stored before I acquired it from a deceased estate. The body and paintwork are gleaming.
Chassis and mechanicals had a full nut and bolt restoration. Drives fantastically and stops surprising well.
Engine is still on standard bore pistons, and has all new white metal. Starts on the button. Not quick, but will get you anywhere. Recent Willie Mackenzie coil conversion.
Both front seat and dickie are original leather, the front is in need of some repairs, but would be a shame to replace it.
Hood is as new and with full wet weather gear in useable condition.
Sad to sell it, but with growing “dad commitments” I’m not finding the time to use my cars as much. I thought I’d wait for the warmer weather to see if much would change, but unfortunately it hasn’t, as such need to thin out a little.
Happy for any conversation, or come and see it. Car is in Northamptonshire, NN6 7.
Thanks!
