The ubiquitous 12/ 4 is one of the most widely recognised vintage cars, partly due to the children’s series of ‘Gumdrop’ stories by Val Biro. Sound design and construction has ensured its survival in large numbers.
This example is probably the earliest two-seat model in existence. The car retains all the features of the early models, with wooden spoked wheels, beaded edge tyres, two-wheel brakes, the correct CAV lighting and original short-stroke engine. It is a delight to drive.
