Description

Triumph herald genuine 13/ 60 saloon in Valencia blue. Very original car. Clean with a lovely standard interior. Matching numbers. Showing only 30000 miles, believed to be genuine with some history. The car has no rot and shows no signs of welding having been oiled and waxoiled underneath by it's last long-term owner annually. It has been well looked after over the last 56 years and garaged most of its life. It has recently been recommissioned and put back on the road this year after a period of 13 years. The car (fondly known as Nigel) has been used since for classic car shows and drive's well in all situations and temperatures. Covering approx 300 + miles with no issues. Starting instantly hot or cold. Positive steering. Gearbox and clutch. Being the desirable 13/ 60 model, it is quite nippy. It doesn't have a sunroof, so is bone dry inside. Some old Mots and tax discs back to the 2000 and some invoices will be included with some history of previous owners. Before the car was stored it had a lovely new matching fitted Royal Blue carpet set from Coverdale trimming. a new steel front panel arches and wings professionally fitted and welded in. Also cills. Left and right. The front was then sprayed to a acceptable standard in the original Valencia Blue colour as shown in photos. The rest of the car seems to be original paint which possibly could be machine polished to match new paint better. Most of the chrome is in lovely condition as shown. We have left paint as is. As the car is solid and tells a story of originality. Nigel has had many replacement parts to put him back on the road Including. Brake pads, cylinder, new fluid and hoses. Front and rear shock absorbers. Exhaust back box. Points, condenser. Plugs. Radiator hoses. Boot seal and other bits and bobs I've probably forgotten about. Also a quality oil and filter change within the last 200 miles. It even has the original keys. 1. for the boot/ glove box and 1. for door/ ignition. It has a spare wheel with original cover board and rubber mat. Known faults. Fuel gauge doesn't work. We just keep it topped up. No bulb in interior courtesy light. The car is priced to sell. Please telephone at a reasonable hour if your serious. Silly texts and offers will be ignored. No more than two people viewing and if you want to drive it , bring your ID and proof of insurance. However I will happily drive you as the car is still taxed insured with full V5 at our address and is still being used till sold. 6 long-term owners with some history. 30000 miles believed genuine
