Original, unmolested example. Very hard to find another that is so genuine and unmodified, unrestored etc. Has been garaged from new.
Full recommissioning service and MoT , and new fuel pump now completedOrdered new by Mr Gordon Forster on 28th June 1989 for his wife Shirley Forster, at a cost of £13, 884 from Page Motors, Leatherhead Surrey. The Tennis special edition was registered with private number plate 1 CPF from new, eventually changing to A12 SEF around 1996 then back to its original plate F873 UPB when Alistair Reid the second owner bought the Tennis in 2005. Alistair is the current owners grandfather so owners 2 and 3 are from the same family and history is well known/ documented since new.
Alistair used the car to drive occasionally to Scotland and to his golf club, the RAC club in Leatherhead. Eventually due to lack of use his grandson (current owner) bought the car and dry stored it for the last 6 years.
In the extensive history file we have all MoT slips going back to 1992 clearly confirming the mileage to be genuine, and many invoices for works over the years. The service history is documented clearly from new in great detail, although the original service book is missing many invoices back up the history.
This Tennis has never been rebuilt, modified, restored and remains in exceptional original condition - could easily be used for car shows.
