2011/ 61 MINI Cooper S – 58, 191 miles – 2 owners – N18 engine – high specification
I've owned this MINI Cooper S for the majority of its life and it's now reluctantly for sale.
This is a late facelift R56 Cooper S, fitted with the later N18 1. 6 turbo engine and 6-speed manual gearbox, which enthusiasts generally regard as the more desirable version of the R56 due to the various improvements made over the earlier N14-engined cars.
The car was first registered in October 2011 and has had just 2 owners from new. It has covered 58, 191 miles and remains in largely original specification.
One of the things that attracted us to the car was its unusually high factory specification. The original purchase invoice from Barons MINI is included in the history file and shows that the first owner spent £23, 827. 68 when ordering the car, which was a substantial amount for a MINI in 2011.

The car has been well maintained during our ownership and comes with an excellent history file including the original dealer invoice, main dealer service records and supporting paperwork.

The car starts, drives and performs exactly as it should. The N18 engine pulls strongly, the gearbox is positive and it remains a genuinely enjoyable car to drive. The panoramic roof and heated leather seats also make it a particularly pleasant place to spend time compared to many other Cooper S examples.
The car remains in very original condition and has not been modified, which was important to us when we purchased it.
Finding an R56 Cooper S isn't difficult, but finding one with:
the later N18 engine,
a manual gearbox,
only 58, 000 miles,
two owners from new,
a high factory specification,
and the original purchase documentation,
is becoming increasingly uncommon.
