Description
This is a very rare 2006 registered Ducati ST4S, 24, 700 miles. Manufactured for a limited time in 2005, this is the only model of Ducati that combined the classic 996 desmoquattro engine with a wet clutch- so no clutch rattle, smooth and silent. Only built in “S” specification it has lightweight Marchesini wheels, an alloy swinging arm, an Olins rear shock and upgraded Showa forks. There is a comprehensive service record and I have just completed a service including a cam belt change and fork seal replacement. It has also had a recent new chain and sprockets and upgraded starter leads. Easily removable Ducati Performance panniers are fitted that will take most full face helmets. The original tool kit and Ducati U lock are in place as is an owner’s manual, service manual, two ignition keys and the very important red key which allows additional keys to be coded. It is in excellent condition with some small marks on the bodywork and a bit of the patina to be expected on a 20 year old motorcycle. I have used it manly for European tours where its 21 litre tank provides an easy 250 mile range- it is an absolute mile eater whilst providing the legendary 996 experience in an agile and comfortable chassis. The bike is in Northern Ireland only 30 minutes from Belfast City airport. So if you are in GB fly over enjoy some fantastic local roads and take the ferry back.
