Here we have a classic mercedes 814 T2 LN Lambourn horse box with a genuine low mileage of 161, 933 Km (100, 000 miles). This is a very rare vehicle, which is 19 ft 2 inch from the back of the cab. Most are 12/ 14 ft. It has a ramp at the rear and also a side ramp, 2 pedestrian doors and a sliding door behind the cab allowing access into the cargo area. Built by the prestigious Lambourn racehorse transporters. The body is insulated and clad in aluminium. There is enough room for 2 people to sleep in the luton. Access to the engine is through the bonnet and a removable cowl in the cab. Powered by the legendary uncomplicated Mercedes OM364LA diesel engine. 5 speed box and power steering. Starts first turn of the key any weather and drives as it should. I bought this approx. 2 years ago with the intention of converting it into a catering unit to do shows. I had to have the cab floor/ bulkhead welded professionally for the MOT (See Pics)The wheels shot blasted and painted, installed leisure batteries and 240 volt hook up. Diesel heater with remote start and lots of LED lighting throughout. Fitted new Phenolic resin anti slip flooring boards. Had it fully serviced then put through its test. Drove it back from the test centre and it has hardly been used since. Just used as a storage unit for our internet business. This sale is due to a massive change in circumstance in our lives.
