Former fire truck from the town of Bad Breisig in Germany.
Imported and registered in France, but not yet classified as a classic/ car for collection, to give the future buyer as much freedom as possible.
Always stored indoors in a warehouse, making it a rare vehicle in this standard of preservation.
The beacons and controls have been left in place purely for decoration; they had to be disabled for the DREAL check.
Very good base for an expedition/ dispatch vehicle conversion. Rear-wheel drive, but with a very high ground clearance.
The change of use only involved dismantling certain conversions such as extra seats without seatbelts, along with some specific signalling equipment and the lettering.
On the mechanical side, the master cylinder has been replaced, as have the front brake pads.
Surface rust is present in a few spots on the bodywork that will need maintenance; despite good storage, time has still made itself known. No structural rust—very solid chassis. Minor intermittent fault on the handbrake warning light.
Apart from that, the vehicle runs very well.
The MOT/ technical inspection will be carried out for the sale. Last inspection was a clean pass.
Only for sale—please refrain from unrealistic offers. First contact by message please; given the harassment we receive on our phones, I rarely answer numbers I don’t know.
