Classic 1979 Yamaha IT250 F restoration project.
As can be seen in the photos, the bike needs work and some parts replaced, but it is mostly all there, making restoration much easier. The engine ran when it was bought around 18 months ago but hasn’t been attempted to be started since. It doesn’t have much compression but there were no nasty knocks or rattles.
The bike was recently imported from the USA. Import taxes have been paid and it has a NOVA certificate ready for UK registration. (Registration is a simple process and I can advise on this.)
