Description
A 1994 Ducati 916 "Varese-built" is an extremely rare early-production motorcycle in stunning original condition.
Assembled by hand at the Cagiva Research Centre in Varese rather than Bologna due to a 1994 factory fire. These collector bikes were hand-built during the 1994 transitional period (with very limited Monoposto models). Identifying Marks: Cagiva elephant logos ( Nellies )on the windscreen and fuel flap, early date-stamped Brembo calipers, unique early red paint. Nellies on wheels.. hoses.. non adjustable levers... rare original keys.. P8 ECU... etc.
Some history .. but the condition of this bike is incredible.. those that know will know. Runs and rides as it should.. just had a service including belts.. fresh coolant with new thermostat. Wheels recently been painted ( not powder coated) to the correct varese model colour plus new front tyre.
Full MOT... no advisories
One for the collector
