Description
This is a beautiful 1963 MG Midget MkI featuring the 1098cc A-Series engine and showing 45, 200 miles. The car is lovely and standard, including its original 10CG prefixed engine, sliding windows and internal door handles. The car is finished in British racing green paintwork with a black interior and white piping. The bodywork and chassis are in very good, solid condition, with the paint presenting well overall aside from a few cosmetic blemishes. The leather seats are in great condition with no tears or damage. The interior also features a solid wooden Astrali steering wheel with alloy spokes. The roof is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears and is waterproof for those occasions caught out in the rain.
Mechanically, the vehicle has had the following recent upgrades since its restoration by the owner prior to who I purchased the car from. The twin SU carburettors have been professionally rebuilt, balanced, and set up for optimal fueling, with a receipt provided of the works carried out. Additionally, the standard ignition has been upgraded with a new electronic ignition module, a new ignition coil, and new ignition leads to ensure dependable starting and running.
The vehicle is road-ready and drives exactly as a standard MkI should. It is now offered for sale due to a loss of garage storage space.
