For sale my 1979 Yamaha XS400 SE. I’ve hardly used it. Check out the mileage. Below is what the previous owner described when I bought it off him in July 2025. No MOT or tax needed. Currently on a sorn. Included is the topbox and windscreen. £1500. If you don’t want the topbox and windscreen I’ll accept £1400. This is a 1979 V plated 400XS SE Special. In cherry red / silver grey. Imported from US in 1994. I have owned it for 3 yrs. Done very little mileage but changed oil and plugs. The speedo clock failed quite badly on a run and the housing disintegrated. The odometer kept working however and as can be seen from the photo it recorded mileage of 24, 226 before being replaced with current clock, reading 12, 124 miles. Hence the mileage drop.
