Description
Due to a change in circumstance I am selling my 1962 Alpine. The car presents very well and is unmodified. I have just put 12 months MOT on the car for peace of mind for the next owner.
The history file shows restoration work in 1995 by Classic Car Developments in Derby, as well as major works in 2005 when the car was teated to a full mechanical rebuild, including engine, clutch, running gear etc. The four speed gearbox changes well and it has column overdrive. At the same time a new a new hood, seat covers and carpets were fitted. There is a Radio CD fitted with speakers hidden under the footwells.
In my brief ownership I have replaced the rocker cover and side cover gaskets, steering drag link, wheel bearing adjustments and overall heath check by a local classic car specialist. The car is solid throughout, and the underside is comprehensively rust-proofed. The boot and engine compartments are very clean.
