Description
An early Ferrari 308 GTB with quad Weber carburetors and factory dry-sump lubrication. Chassis #25875, engine F 106 A 021, finished in Argento Auteuil Metallizzato over Rosso leather with Daytona-style seats and Nero inserts.
Sold new in the United Kingdom in 1978. Exported to Sweden on 29 December 1989 by its first Swedish owner, who had purchased the car while living in the UK and brought it with him on his return. Acquired by the current family in 1994 and retained ever since — 32 years of continuous, single-family ownership. Only two private owners in Sweden since 1989. The historical record remains on the UK DVLA registry.
Repainted in the original Argento Auteuil by a marque specialist in the early 1990s. Since 1994 all servicing and mechanical work has been carried out exclusively by Ferrari specialist Christos at Autokinito in Uppsala, Sweden, with full documentation and a complete service file (Exclusively serviced by Autokinito, except handbrake and head light relay service 2025, done by EB Auto, Uppsala). Cambelts have recently been replaced and a new air-conditioning compressor fitted. The car is in good working order, with the engine and gearbox contributing greatly to the driving pleasure.
Fitted with period-correct 16" Compomotive 3-piece split rims and an Ansa exhaust system. The original 14" factory wheels are included in the sale.
The current owner operates professionally in enclosed vehicle transport. Enclosed delivery can be arranged at cost price to continental Europe, or to Calais for handover to UK buyers. Same family ownership since 1994 with single-specialist service history. Engine and gearbox run exceptionally strongly, and the car has recently passed Swedish state inspection (Bilprovningen).
The car's UK registration EBC 505T is still on record with the DVLA — listed as a Ferrari, silver, 2, 926 cc petrol, and untaxed since 1 January 1990.
