Description
A Pair of 2005 Honda Z50J Monkey Bikes – Closely Numbered – Dubai Supplied – Exceptional Provenance, one owner from newA rare opportunity to acquire two remarkably closely numbered Honda Z50J Monkey Bikes that have remained together since new. Offered for sale as a pair, these two 2005 Honda Z50Js – one red and one blue – were originally supplied by Honda dealer Trading Enterprises in Dubai and subsequently brought with us to the United Kingdom. What makes them particularly interesting is just how closely they appear to have come through production:Red Z50JFrame: JHABXXXX03795Engine: Z50XXXX4185Blue Z50JFrame: JHAXXXX03811Engine: Z5XXXX4216The frames are therefore just 16 numbers apart, with the engines only 31 numbers apart. The bikes have effectively spent their entire lives together and have never been ordinary everyday road bikes. Throughout our ownership they have been kept indoors in either air-conditioned or heated accommodation and have been carefully preserved. Importantly for a collector, they are accompanied by their original period documentation, including the Dubai dealer paperwork/ bill of sale and individual Dubai customs documentation identifying each motorcycle by its frame and engine number. They are currently unregistered for UK road use. We believe the combination of their condition, history, documentation and exceptionally close production numbers makes these considerably more interesting as a pair than as two individual Z50Js. For that reason, our strong preference is that they remain together and are sold as a pair. They would make a wonderful addition to a serious Honda, Monkey Bike or Japanese motorcycle collection, particularly for someone who values originality and documented provenanceBoth are 2005 Honda Z50J Monkey bikes. Both have only around 400–550 km. Original Honda/ dealer provenance from Dubai, UK ownerOriginal bill of sale and customs/ import documentation. I have owned them throughout. They’ve been stored indoors in heated/ air-conditioned conditions. The frames are only 16 numbers apart. The engines are only 31 numbers apart. They remain together approximately 20 years later and it is time for me to reluctantly let someone else appreciate themAs you can see, their condition from the photographs is exceptionally good.
