Alfa Romeo 105 GTV 2000
This Alfa was manufactured in 1974 and until 2004 spent its life in Singapore. I have a bunch of history from 2002 onwards including what appears to be a receipt for a bare metal respray in 2002 before it left Singapore. The last work carried out was by me in 2022 when I had the car recommissioned after it had sat around for a while. Since then it has been stored in a dry garage and used by me sparingly.
Car is pretty much rust free. I have been over the entire body with a magnet and could not find any evidence of filler. All panels are straight and well fitting. Paint work is good but she has a few blemishes, nothing major but don't expect perfection.
Floors, sills, boot floor, etc are all structurally solid with no visible corrosion. Car has been under-sealed underneath.
Engine is very smooth and quiet. She pulls strongly and goes through all gears fine although changing down to 3rd and 2nd can be a bit graunchy if you don't get the revs right.
Interior is pretty good, seats have one or two marks but are otherwise very good, carpets are like new. Dashboard is in good shape, roof liner fine. She has been fitted with air conditioning which is working although not super cold so could probably do with a re-gas. Fuel gauge is not working, also one or two of the interior lights.
Speedometer shows 14, 768 miles. Assume its been around the clock at least once but no real way to evidence actual mileage.
All in all a good car which could easily be used as a daily driver or as a rolling restoration project.
