I purchased 09. 10. 2025, in original condition with 4 previous owners, mileage is a low for year 21878 and MOT until 13. 10 26.
I long time motorcyclist of sum 66 years! and still riding them, I'd always wanted to own a Thruxton, but with a view to creating a more sixties vision of this iconic name, and it had to be the carburetted model, I then progressed with the changes loosely basing these on the 'Slippery Sam' model raced at Thruxton.
TAB 11 Classics in Tregaron provided the handmade replica 'Slippery Sam' tank, fuel taps, inline filter, and upholstered seat unit.
Rear mudguard side height reduced and together with the front mudguard re-painted in the correct Triumph silver, pinstriped and laquered/ undersealed by 'Petroyle restorations, Chalgrove.
Replacement header studs, locknuts, copper ring gaskets.
Norman Hyde 'Toga' silencers create the correct sound and carburettors re-jetted to avoid 'popping on the over run.
Hagon black over chrome Road dampers work well and have 'the look'.
'Triumph Twin Performance' stage 1 torque induction kit and air box baffle removed.
Triumph chrome chainguard.
DID gold & black X-ring chain, sprocket in good condition.
Rear brake caliper re-built and new pads, mounted on 'Motone'
relocation bracket, much easier when brake bleeding.
'Motone' rear number plate mount & wiring signal loom with period 'Lucas' light unit.
'Aliant' lithium battery & battery conditioner hook up lead.
'Motone' front & rear indicator mounts fitted with small high density LED indicators.
Front fork gaitors.
'Motone' QR side panel bolts, choke knob, Talon ribbed clutch lifter cover and dished oil filler cap.
Moore Speed grips with small black bar end mirrors that work well.
Open primary custom sprocket cover.
Excellent tyres.
Comes with all original parts.
