Description
Restoration of this 1934 PA commenced in 1976, along with several other MMM cars, and continued to 2008 when work stopped due to the restorers poor health. Progress at that point can seen in an attached 'photo. All of the work had been completed to high standard and addressed just about every aspect of the car. The car was kept in heated garage storage from 2008 until I purchased it earlier this year. I have since completed the restoration as seen in the accompanying pictures.
The car retains it's original engine and gearbox and still carries it's bonnet hinge and dumb iron numbers chassis 1891. The car appears on the MMM register. The DVLA V5 has an incorrect build date of 1936 and the colour is listed as blue - I believe that the intended colour was the period Oxford/ Cambridge blue
combination.
The car drives well and feels taught and responsive. The brakes are excellent and the engine willing. Prospective purchasers are welcome to take a test drive provided they can show evidence of suitable insurance.
I'm happy to talk through the car with prospective buyers but I would appreciate a 'phone call rather than an extended game of email ping-pong (overseas interest excepted of course).
