Peugeot 106XS Phase 1.
A very rare opportunity to own a Peugeot 106 XS Phase 1, believed to be 1 of only 3 Phase 1 XS models remaining on the road, and quite possibly the only one in white. The car has had 3 owners previous to myself.
This is a genuinely lovely, original example that has been very well preserved for its age. The car retains its original paintwork and interior which is hard to find with these cars now. The paintwork was machine polished and ceramic coated by myself last year. Being a detailer, this car is helped me with advertisement and has gained a lot of attention over my last year of ownership.
It currently sits on a set of genuine Peugeot 106 Rallye wheels made by Michelin. I also have the original wheels, which are included with the car. These would benefit from a refurbishment and a new set of tyres.
The car also comes with a large amount of history, providing a great record of its life and maintenance.
I purchased the car last year. It had been kept dry indoors in storage and was off the road for a few years. It was a goal of mine to mildly restore it and use it during the dry days and nice weather.
Mechanically and structurally, the car has been looked after properly. Last year I had some of the common areas underneath the car professionally fabricated and repaired and repainted.
Considering it is now an older car, it is in superb condition and presents extremely well. The originality is one of its biggest selling points, particularly given how few Phase 1 are actually on the road now.
This is not a modified or heavily restored example. It is an honest, highly original 106 XS that has survived exceptionally well, making it a great little car for an enthusiast, collector or someone looking for something increasingly rare.
My only reason for parting ways with the car is not having the room to store it indoors and I dont think its the type of car especially in the condition it's in that should be kept outside.
