Early Willys CJ2a with original engine and transmission. The engine had a full rebuild in 2022 including new (old stock) crankshaft, con rods and pistons plus carb re-build
The body has been renovated to bring it back to as near as its original colour and condition as possible.
The vehicle was imported from Argentina approximately 25 years ago and had been dry stored in a barn for the last 15 years.
Chassis and running gear are all in excellent condition and all brakes have recently been serviced incl new shoes.
This is an excellent example of an early CJ2a and a viewing is highly recommended.
Owning a Willys has been a dream for me since I was a in my early teens and I finally realised it in 2021 when this jeep was bought as a project, knowing the engine needed rebuilding and the body work sorting out.
Due to its history, it has no rot and all the original parts, including the Willys MB Windscreen it had originally been built with.
I have loved restoring it and bringing it back to its former glory but injury means I can't drive and appreciate it as much as I did - time for someone else to!
It isn't an MB and doesn't pretend to be one and I wanted it to look and feel like what it is - the worlds first 4x4 civilian utility vehicle.
