This is a family owned car and was given to me by my aunt who is in her eighties and does not drive any more. My aunt and uncle bought the car from new, and I used to sit in the back for the car at the age of 15 when i was living in America.
The car was standing for a number of years. I have had the airflow meter overhauled, new plugs, points and fuel pump, the petrol tank was acid cleaned and i fitted a new petrol sender.
The only issues with the are as follows:
1. A slight mis-fire on idle, it either needs the injectors cleaned/ replaced or it is taking in too much air
2. The rheostat needs replacing as the dashboard lights dont work
Thats about it, which is not bad for a car of its age.
