Description
Rare Mercedes C55 AMG 5. 4L 370 BHP Estate in very rare Black Osidian colour imported from Japan in 2025 so right hand drive and very clean and tidy with no notable corrosion that UK delivery market models tend to suffer due to exposure to British weather and salty roads!
I recently brought this car on Car and Classic auctions to add to my collection of cars but unforeseen circumstances mean I need to sell. As per previous auction listing this car is all original apart from upgraded pioneer radio and discreet rear view parking camera above the licence plate.
Car has MoT with no advisories until Feb'27. I have recently had a full new set of new Continental All Season Contact2 tyres with correct width setting for front and back along with full alignment put on the car meaning car can now be driven with confidence in cold and wet conditions.
Please phone rather than email for more information. I am respectful only willing to accept serious offers from a collector or AMG enthusiast who have knowledge of the needs for an understated AMG classic like this car. Happy for share videos on engine running and underside of car when it was on the ramp for recent tyre fit for genuine enquiries.
Car is in great condition for its age with no cosmetic marks that one would typically expect to find on a car of its age! Car drives well and as anyone who knows the C55 well or had the pleasure of driving one, it is a comfortable drive happy to cruise around town a low speed but really comes alive above 2, 000 rpm.
Again I am only selling for unforeseen personal reasons but ideally looking to sell the car onto a collector or AMG aficionado who will cherish the car and keep it well maintained. Car of this condition and rarity really needs to be kept in a garage during winter (sadly something I can no longer provide it with) and then enjoyed during the drier months of the year when the roads are unsalted!
On a personal note I love the understated nature of this car. It's not a noisy 'listen to me 5L V8' but more of a purring cat. Exhaust sound does not grate on your ears like other V8s can. It's always nice to pull up alongside a modern sportscar at the traffic lights whose driver looks over thinks its just a well kept black Mercedes estate until the lights turn green.... the straight line acceleration is impressive and the V8 really kicks in!
