Up for sale is my cherished Honda Fireblade SC28 – the iconic original – featuring an 893cc inline-four engine and just 28, 000 miles on the clock.
I’ve proudly owned this bike for over 6 years, and throughout that time, no expense has been spared in restoring it to its original OEM specification. It even comes with the original toolkit and uncut rear mudguard – rare finds that speak to its authenticity.
In 2021, the fairings and tank were professionally stripped back to bare and resprayed in Ross White / Purple / Pink , the correct colours and livery for the UK make, and model. The result is a stunning, period-accurate finish that turns heads wherever it goes. I have photos of the restoration, which can be provided.
Originally a full-power US import, the bike was brought to the UK in 1997 and has remained here ever since. It’s been serviced and MOT’d annually, with full documentation to support its meticulous upkeep. Always garaged, it remains in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically.
This is a reluctant sale, driven by the need to free up garage space and help fund a car for my son, whose just passed his driving test. With the bike covering less than 500 miles a year, it’s time for someone else to enjoy her as much as I have.
