Description
1951 MG YA in very nice condition. Previous owner restored the car approx 35/ 40 years ago with some old photos to show. The bodywork is still looking extremely nice with just a few small imperfections on the boot lid and number plate panel and a few other small marks here and there. The underside is extremely solid and well preserved. I have not done any work to the bodywork apart from polishing and admiring it. I have spent over £2000 on parts alone in the last two years improving the mechanicals, including professionally restored cylinder head with new valves and guides and hardened valve seats to use on modern petrol, rebuilt distributor, new rear leaf springs, water pump, thermostat , hoses , fuel pump, rebuilt carb, replaced core plugs various seals etc etc, many receipts to prove. the car is now running very nicely, starts easily and pulls well. The interior especially the woodwork is one of the best i have seen. I have attended many car shows this year and she always gets a lot of positive comments and interest. Very desirable registration number (UMG) included.
