Description
The MG Y saloon was built between 1947 and 1953. From 1948, an open-bodied version based on it was offered as a four-seat tourer. This model was produced for just three years, with a total output of 904 vehicles. The rare left-hand-drive version offered for sale was delivered to Switzerland as a brand-new car. In 1974, restoration work was carried out and the car was resprayed. Since then, the car has been in the same family’s ownership and proved to be a reliable vehicle for trips out with children and grandchildren.
