Description
Original Series One 1983 Maserati Biturbo coupé (Now over 40 years old!). This is the version originally reserved for the Italian market, with a 90° V6 configuration of 2 litres and 18 valves producing 180bhp (11 fiscal horsepower).
A car for enthusiasts of 1980s cars and series from the famous Maserati period following the De Tomaso takeover, featuring the typical four-headlight grille forms of the four-door version, rear lights in strips like its direct rival the BMW 3 Series E30 325i, but in two-door form with a more luxurious Italian interior, and those famous very flat windows.
The car has benefited from a full engine, suspension and brakes overhaul and runs perfectly. It now needs some sympathetic cosmetic restoration of the bodywork. The front windscreen is cracked and will have to be replaced and there are some worn trim items, which should also be replaced. Please refer to the photographs for more detail.
A fine example of the first Gandini Biturbo in its purest form.
