For sale is my lovely Audi TT 3. 2 quattro, a car that is becoming increasingly rare to see on the road.
Japanese import with just over 66000 miles and extensive documented service history from both Japan and the UK.
Originally supplied and maintained in Japan before being imported into the UK in 2021.
Exceptionally clean underneath and remarkably free from corrosion.
Owned by myself since December 2024 and maintained throughout my ownership.
Mechanically excellent, with an exceptionally smooth engine and gearbox.
Extensive recent preventative maintenance, including suspension components, fluids, filters and a recent Audi service.
Particularly unusual Alcantara interior, which I personally prefer to the more common leather specification and is rarely seen on UK-market 3. 2s.
Fitted with 18" OZ Superleggera alloys with approximately 4–5 mm of tyre tread remaining.
The car also benefits from some genuinely interesting modifications, most notably an extremely high-end bespoke audio installation.
Bespoke Audio
The car has a serious bespoke audio installation, originally commissioned in Japan.
BRAX Graphic Pro TT1 mid/ bass drivers and matching BRAX tweeters.
Extensive hand-made fabrication including custom door cards, A-pillars and the underside of the driver's dashboard.
All fabricated to an OEM+ standard, properly integrated into the original interior.
The equivalent custom installation cost over £10, 000 when commissioned.
Audison SR 5-channel amplifier and Audison Prima 8" subwoofer.
Pioneer DEH-X8700DAB head unit with DAB+, Bluetooth and CD.
Existing BRAX components retained and operated actively.
The entire system was subsequently gone through, upgraded and professionally tuned by John Kleis Audio in Reading, with the work totalling £2, 313. 73.
Sounds fantastic, with considerably more clarity, detail and soundstage than the original Bose system. High speed usb charging was also fitted, with an outlet near the driver's A pillar and in the centre tennel storage, as well as 3. 5mm audio input.
Service History
Original Japanese Audi service book retained.
Numerous recorded Japanese scheduled services/ inspections and Audi dealer stamps.
Japanese servicing carried out at relatively short mileage intervals, with documented maintenance continuing to approximately 78, 000 km.
Major UK service at 51, 515 miles / July 2023, including:
Engine oil & filter
Air, fuel and cabin filters
Six spark plugs
Gearbox oil & filter
Haldex oil
Rear differential oil
Gearbox seal
Lower control arms, ball joints and drop links replaced, followed by a full four-wheel alignment and geometry setup.
Audi Reading service at 65, 303 miles / August 2026, including genuine Audi engine oil and filter.
MOT until December 2026.
Condition
Mechanically excellent — engine and gearbox both smooth and operating exactly as they should.
Recent suspension work makes the car feel tight and composed.
Extremely clean underside with very little visible corrosion.
OZ Superleggeras with approximately 4–5 mm tyres.
There are a few honest age-related cosmetic imperfections which I have reflected in the description:
Lacquer above the front grille is starting to deteriorate and would benefit from repainting.
Lacquer on the front-left wheel arch could also do with attention.
These are common cosmetic issues on Mk1 TTs of this age.
The boot lid lining is beginning to sag slightly.
The fuel gauge needle overreads by around 20%. The digital display is accurate.
The soft touch coating on the plastics underneath the steering wheel has degraded.
The car is in daily use as I alternate it with my MX5. It's best to come see in Henley On Thames RG9 but when working I am based in Tooting, London.
