2000 Audi TT 225 Quattro Roadster with 142k miles and recent comprehensive service.
The 8N/ MK1 TT is a true future classic. This is an early example of the roadster and still sports the part number sticker on the rear spoiler, presumably added as part of the worldwide recall to tame the handling of the early cars. You can see from the photos that the car is pretty eye catching, sitting low on BBS style wheels. Being the 225bhp model it is no slouch but it has brakes and sports suspension to match the performance and of course is all wheel drive. Inside the leather upholstery is tidy, the original BOSE stereo and 6 disc CD changer sound fantastic and the, heated seats, electric roof and glass wind deflector work as they should.
I bought this car from a local private vendor three years ago. In 2024 I completed a comprehensive service including cambelt and water pump change. At the same time I removed the sump and cleaned the oil pickup, replaced both cooling fans and the fan control unit, changed the rocker cover gasket, replaced a CV joint, rear springs, all the brake discs, pads and fluid and renewed all four tyres. In summer 2024 I used the car and it performed perfectly but since then it hasn't been used. I'd like to free up a bit of garage space so the Audi is offered for sale.
Whilst she is a good, honest and reliable example of the TT of course, as a 26 year old car, not everything is perfect. The a/ c needs a recharge, there are a few lines of pixels gone on the info screen, the clutch is a bit heavy, there are a few marks to the bodywork and some dodgy touch ups and there is a minor oil leak. She has a fresh MOT (16th September) and needs to be used.
