Description
1930 Austin Seven Ulster replica, with trailer. Body by Compound Curvatures and currently on trials rear springs - sports springs also come with the car for road or track use. The chassis is standard, unboxed and with a rebuilt 5. 25:1 rear axle with new half shafts. The gearbox is a close ratio 3 speed unit, believed to be genuine Ulster (stamped S), with remote change for quick shifts. The engine has been rebuilt and mildly tuned with 1 5/ 16” crankshaft, large inlet valves, high lift camshaft, extra capacity oil pump, new Rickardo alloy cylinder head and Bosch distributor with auto advance. The dynamo has been professionally converted to 12 volt with a new regulator. Braking is cable operated, coupled to all four wheels, with semi Girling adjusters at the front, the instruments include a correct Smiths 100mph speedometer, an electric 6000rpm Smiths rev counter, and pressure gauges for the oil and fuel systems. The tyres are new, being 350x19 Longstones to the rear and Blockleys to the front. There is a two piece tonneau cover and pneumatic seat cushions. Brooklands aero screens are fitted. The car comes with V5C and old green log book. Trailer included.
