NATIONWIDE DELIVERY AVAILABLE XK 150 3. 8 DHC 1959 RHD 659 NPK: Specification Engine: • 3. 4 ltr. replaced by 3. 8 litre straight port head with electric rev counter. ( e type head recognisable 'pumpkin' colour) • Cylinder head fitted with EN18 stainless steel short studs • Composite cylinder head gasket with neoprene sealing rings (red) • Flanged cylinder liners • Modified tapered core plugs which recess and allow original plug to fit as well • Bearings sourced from original 50's Scorpion tank engine* Carburation • Twin SU HD8 2 inch carbs with manual choke. (standard are HD 631/ 4') Similar to early D Type carbs but not sand cast • 40% up-rated oil pump (70psi). Screw-on oil filter fitted and modified to pressure feed camshafts • Crankshaft seal replaced with neoprene seal held by cast steel brackets, (as opposed to alloy securing brackets which expand with heat and allow oil leaks) Electronic ignition • Up-rated timing change tensioner, alternator 70amp hrs capacity fitted Cooling system • Radiator and water pump upgraded. New polyurethane seal, which avoids seal sticking and splitting, therefore no more leaks. • Factory thermostatic fan with auxiliary large blade Kenlow fan, fitted and operated from the dashboard. Cooling system expansion tank fitted Transmission • 5 speed Jaguar gearbox • 9. 5 ¨Borg and Beck diaphragm clutch • 2. 9 differential: ratio as per long nose Jaguar D Type 1955/ 56 Brakes: uprated 4 pot callipers Suspension: uprated with with adjustable front and rear shocks Bodywork • Standard DHC in Arum White with colour coded wires • New black hood and bag, made by Stan Swan (he made the original DHC factory hoods) Interior: • Suffolk and Turley black seats, inertia reel belts, LED light bulb conversion top dash and courtesy lights Exterior lights • LED side, brakes, reverse and winking lights • Head lights Xenon.
