Only three registered keepers but One Owner for 58 years !!
Mineral blue with contrasting black leather interior with blue piping. Working Overdrive, painted wire wheels with recent new tyres all round.
Long ownership by its main keeper of Fifty Eight years pretty incredible he also owned a matching MGB Roadster.
A charming example very honest it has been loved and enjoyed which is clear to see.
Extremely reliable drives really well, the engine and gearbox completely rebuilt just last year.
Bodywork is in great condition no doubt it has had work completed over the years. The paintwork has crazed, very presentable but would benefit from a fresh coat of paint if required.
Very original the bright work is good with the exception of the rear bumper, there is a replacement bumper to be fitted.
In summary there’s nothing better than the charm of these early MK1 MGB’s this particular one has been loved by its One Owner for all of its life, it’s very original yes would benefit from fresh paint or better still simply drive and enjoy it as is! Having just had a full rebuild on the engine and gearbox it should now be good for many more years. It sits well, drives superb and handles well too!
