Here for sale is my 2004 ZX12R, B2H which I've owned for 8 years and the V5 is in my name. When I bought the bike it had 20, 400 miles on it, it's now got 24, 283 on the clock and all of the mileage is verified by the MOT history - see photo. The previous owner had invested in a full Akrapovic exhaust system in 2017 which looks and sounds fantastic. The bike starts, rides, handles and stops exactly as a ZX12R should do, it goes like a missile as per it's design, specification and reputation and is a joy to ride. I've just put two new Bridgestone Battleaxe tyres on which I've scrubbed in with circa 25 miles covered - see photos and the chain and sprockets were changed last year and have done less than 500 miles. The bike has been regularly serviced with the last full service at 23, 331, a new battery was fitted in February this year and all the electrics work as they should, MOT expires August 2027. The reason for selling is that I've just bought a KTM 1290 Superduke R - see photo, so the ZX12 is just sitting in the garage as the KTM is now my "Go To" bike. I'll consider sensible offers but the bike is better in the flesh than in the photos so the first to see will buy. Thanks for looking.
To me the ZX12R was always the ultimate bike, incredible power and performance matched with aggressive lines and looks and the Kawasaki Racing Green finishes the bike off perfectly. When you ride this bike people always admire it, I pulled up at a set of lights yesterday and a woman in the passenger seat of the car next to me smiled and said "That thing looks like it's doing 100mph when it's stationary" and she's right. Riding this bike is great fun, it goes like a rocket, the exhaust note isn't too loud but exudes power, it has really positive, assertive handling and the stopping power is amazing but if you just want to potter around on it, it's perfect for leisurely country lanes etc.
I've really enjoyed owning this bike but I'm taking it out less and less - I've only done circa 500miles per year on it and it's time to let someone else enjoy it. I've just bought the KTM which puts a big smile on your face so think I'll ride the ZX12R even less so it's time to let it go. Thanks for looking
