1984 Lotus Esprit Turbo – Ice Blue Metallic
A very well-kept 1984 Lotus Esprit Turbo in the desirable Ice Blue Metallic, which I have owned and used regularly.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of space, I have made the difficult decision to sell. The car has had a considerable amount of money spent on it over the past few years, with many important mechanical and running-gear improvements carried out.
Engine:
In 2024 the engine underwent a full rebuild by South West Lotus Centre, costing approximately £7, 000. The rebuilt engine has now been properly run in and has covered around 1, 000 miles since the work was completed. An oil change will be carried out before the sale.
Gearbox / Gear Change:
* Updated gear change rod
* New cable kit
* New bushes
Fuel System:
* Aluminium fuel tank fitted
* New fuel pump
* New fuel hoses
Suspension & Brakes:
* Upgraded adjustable suspension

Interior:
The interior remains original and is in good condition. It also has the rare factory-option Panasonic unit fitted to the roof. Unfortunately, this currently doesn’t work, although I have located a company that can repair it.

The car has a large history file, including the original handbook and service book, which is stamped up to approximately 47, 000 miles.
The mileage is 101, 670 miles.
This is a genuine, usable Esprit Turbo that has benefited from substantial expenditure and important mechanical work in recent years. I have continued to use the car regularly, but unfortunately storage space is forcing the sale.
