Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2. 0 Twinspark. LHD
This GTV Originally from Tuscany has been fitted with a Twinspark injected engine from a 75 paired to a crunch free gearbox. It has later style 75 indicator/ wiper stalks & benefits from a Power steering conversion. Tan Recaro interior. Wheels have been refurbished & has fairly new tyres, sits on some Koni Red shocks. Has the Alfa Certificato Di Origine from Italy. MOT & Tax Exempt.
Within the last 3000 miles she has had a new Clutch, Slave cylinder, new front brake calipers, new rear Calipers, discs & pads, Front wheel bearing, New Propshaft doughnut. Very solid underneath.
Although she polishes up to look respectable the paint is not the best & is now at the point that the bodywork should have some attention.
She starts on the button & idles well. Although since the last spell of storage she misses under load after being run for a while and the inline fuel pump, which has recently been replaced becomes loud. I suspect fuel tank contamination & a partially blocked in tank filter but I haven’t had time to investigate. As with any old Alfa there are a few niggles to sort out such as some of the gauges seem to work when they want to & the electric windows have suddenly stopped working despite new switches.
I purchased her 5years ago with great intentions of creating a Resto Mod with throttle bodies etc (ala Alfaholics but in a 116GTV) However, that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon as I just don’t have the time to give. So, I offer her up as a nice little running project for another to take on.
