Original Wood & Pickett Mini 1275GT
We have recently purchased this WP 1275GT together with some long need 8-port parts that is needed for an other car. We can confirm that it is indeed an original WP. We have known the car and its previous owner for over 20 years.
The original chassis plate, comission number, and Danish registration document is all present.
The car was first registrered in October 1974, and by looking at the paint layers, we belive the original colour was Maroon.
We have desided to sell this WP project because we both have other exciting Mini projects that we want to focus on.
As you can see in the photos, the bodywork has been restored using original British Heritage panels, and due to long storage the body has now got some minor surface rust, that need to be fixed before final painting.
The body is mounted on front and rear subframes, with wheels fitted, making it easier to move and transport.
The sale includes the body, doors, bonnet, boot lid, original front seats, rear seat, and dashboard, chassis plate and danish registration paper.
Although it is not a complete WP, it is an authentic car and it should be a manageable project for the right enthusiast.
