Description
Genuine 1275GT, originally in the rare colour of Denim Blue Metallic as confirmed by its heritage certificate . The mileage is believed to be correct with MOT confirmation for the last twenty years.
The present owner has had the car since 2012 and in that time has done a full restoration including new sills, floor pan, heel boards and rear subframe, the rest of the body is sound.
Over the years considerable enhancement has been carried out to the engine which now produces 81bhp, but remains very driveable, with a raised final drive ratio to 3. 1 making a more comfortable cruising speed, whilst remaining fairly quick.
In addition Hi-Lo suspension is fitted along with adjustable arms and tie bars to the front.
The most recent work carried out in 2023 involved the engine removal and a strip down to cure small oil leaks and servicing where needed, also a new starter motor was fitted.
The car is in great condition with no immediate spending required (for now anyway!) It starts easily and is a lot of fun to drive.
It was one of the last GT's to come off the production line and remains a rare and collectable classic mini.
