Description
I have finally decided it’s time to part with my 1990 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo (MK1). I bought this car back in December 2020 on a Japanese auction, landed in April 2021 and was registered in July 2021 making me the first UK owner at 157, 000km. It has now covered just over 205, 000km.
The car arrived in near stock condition, with only aftermarket alloys and coilovers fitted, so all the work has since been carried out by myself and other reputable shops in the midlands.
Paint was done as soon as the car arrived and is overall very very tidy. There are a few small rust spots on the boot lid (see photos) and one small spot under the OSR light unit.
The interior plastics are all in decent condition. The seats are good aside from a rip in the drivers side bolster and a small rip in the carpet on the drivers side (clutch foot wear).

Overall an incredibly clean car. It has genuinely never let me down and has been on countless road trips over the last 5+ years. Has never been under sealed and is incredibly tidy (as seen in photos).
Absolutely gutted to see it go, but I feel like I need to experience boosted mini ownership so it’s got to go, but no doubt I’ll never find another this clean.
