Here we have "Murdey" 1981 Visa 11E with 56, 000 miles only
Never seen a welder underneath, dry stored and off road from 1988 till 2024. Professionally Rebuilt engine and gearbox, new cam, early type higher compression pistons, whole new brake system, clutch, fuel pump & line, rebuilt carb, fuel tank neck, front wing rebuilt (just rattle can painted atm, but you could get it done professionally if you really wanted as colour match is a bit light), new front anti roll bar bushes and rear wheelarch welded. Wheels recently painted in Gris Roue. Early type with satellite controls & early parcel shelf present, Bluetooth head unit with 4 new speakers (front ones in special pods I designed and 3D printed) 12v socket fitted to ashtray and also one under rear seats. Runs lovely and used regularly. Period Roof rack included.
Only 4 of this model on the road in the UK so a rare beast!
Taken off the road in 1988 due to tappet rattle (a common problem on early Visa's) new hardened Cam and head rebuilt but not put back on the road till 2024, totally recommissioned at that point, owned by me since last year.
