A well-maintained 1953 Citroën Traction Avant 11B – Rust-Free, Excellent Mechanical Condition
The car has a particularly sound body, completely free of rust. Mechanically, it is in excellent running condition.
The car retains its original engine and original bodywork. It is roadworthy and registered. It comes with an Historic Vehicle Certificate – issued by Slovenia's National FIVA Authority.
BODYWORK
Completely rust-free body. No structural repairs or body modifications.
The car was repainted at some point in its life. A few small paint blisters are visible in certain areas. They are the result of an improper surface preparation during a repaint carried out many years ago. These are cosmetic imperfections and NOT rust-related damage.
The car retains its original character and patina. The chrome details have deliberately not been replated, preserving their original appearance.
MECHANICAL WORK AND REPLACED COMPONENTS
Four years ago, the following components were replaced:
Radiator,
Complete electrical wiring, including cables and connectors,
7V alternator, replacing the original dynamo,
Ignition coil,
Voltage regulator,
Fuel pump,
Intake and exhaust manifolds,
Rear exhaust silencer,
Fuel level sender,
Fuel tank,
Front brakes.
Most of original components removed during the replacement work have been retained and are available to the buyer.
They can be refitted if the new owner wishes to return the car to its original specification. No permanent modifications were made, and refitting the original parts is straightforward.
The car currently runs and drives very well, and all the above systems are in excellent working order.
INTERIOR
The seats and door panels have been reupholstered. Most other interior components remain original.
The textile trim around the front door body seals shows some wear.

A mechanically excellent and particularly sound example, with a completely rust-free body.
An honest car, offered in its current condition.
The car was originally purchased new in France, sold to the Netherlands in 1978, and later brought to Slovenia.
