Bad bits
The original Jaguar stereo doesn't work - it powers on but nothing happens.
The bodywork is not good. It looks ok from 20 feet but there are paint blemishes everywhere and dents on the roof plus a few rust holes which have been covered with tape to stop water ingress. But nothing that bothered the MOT inspector.
The chrome work is pitted but these are easy to source online, a freshly chromed rear bumper piece will be included ready to fit.
Also it has an aftermarket sunroof fitted as was popular in the 90s - it may even have been electric as the switch is still in the centre console. The sunroof has since been sealed up and a new headlining fitted.
It needs a gearbox mount. When driving the gearstick moves up and down slightly - I might get this done before sale.
This is a really honest Jag that shows all its battle scars and is mechanically incredibly solid. It drives so incredibly well, I have just driven around Snowdonia and it didn't miss a beat.
I love that it has its original dealer numberplates, original keyring, tool kit and original Jaguar folder and booklets.
