Description
Porsche 911 Carrera S 2. 7 – 1975: authenticity in the service of passion. An timeless icon, in exceptional original condition. This 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera S in Grand Prix White, with tan and black interior, perfectly embodies the pure spirit of the classic 911: performance, elegance and authenticity. Imported from the United States, this car has had just three careful owners: - The first, an American enthusiast, used it sensibly. - The second, a true mechanical enthusiast, carried out numerous engine rebuilds (invoices available), without covering much distance. - The third, the current owner since October 2008, has looked after it with the greatest care, covering only around 1, 000 km in over 15 years. Showing less than 78, 000 km on the odometer, this Carrera S benefits from an engine in excellent condition and a remarkably sound chassis, with no notable corrosion. Always kept in a garage, it has been spared the ravages of time and the weather. By choice, and out of respect for purists, no cosmetic restoration has been undertaken: the car is presented in its as-found, original configuration, offering its next owner a rare and authentic base, ideal for a collection or a light restoration, as desired. A genuine testament to Porsche history, for discerning enthusiasts seeking a sincere, unmodified and mechanically impeccable 911 Carrera S.
A 1975 Porsche 911 S, a story of passion and authenticity. This 1975 Porsche 911 S 2. 7 Coupé, originally American, has a distinctive history, marked by only three owners in over 50 years. Its story begins in the United States, where it belonged to a first owner, an American woman. It then passed into the hands of a mechanical enthusiast who, while using it very little, gave it particular attention. He undertook numerous engine works, with significant investment in mechanical parts, many invoices of which have been kept. In October 2008, I became its third owner. Since then, this Porsche has been carefully kept under cover in a garage and has covered only around 1, 000 kilometres. The bodywork is remarkably free of corrosion. The engine is in excellent condition in my experience, and the numerous invoices bear witness to the mechanical work carried out. Out of respect for the vehicle's authenticity and for future collectors, I deliberately chose not to undertake any cosmetic restoration. The upholstery, carpets and paintwork would now merit refurbishment, but I preferred to leave that decision to its next owner. The American odometer was replaced with a kilometre counter during the second ownership. It currently shows under 78, 078 km, though the historic total mileage cannot be certified. As my friend, who replaced the odometer in keeping with proper practice, is trustworthy, I take him at his word on this point. This Porsche is not an artificially refreshed car prepared for sale. It is an authentic classic 911, with its history, its patina and its character. After nearly 18 years in my ownership, I now wish to pass it on to a genuine enthusiast of older Porsches, who will appreciate its authenticity and continue its story. I am moving abroad and cannot take it with me! A fine opportunity to acquire a 1975 Porsche 911 S 2. 7 Coupé, preserved and with a particularly interesting ownership history.
