1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3. 0
50, 853 miles, Copper Brown Metallic, Black Leather, Matching Numbers, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, Full Service History
A beautifully presented example of the rare 911 Carrera 3. 0, finished in the superb period colour of Copper Brown Metallic with a black leather interior. Produced for just two model years, the Carrera 3. 0 is one of the rarest impact bumper 911s, with only 3, 687 examples produced worldwide across Coupe and Targa models. Of that total only 575 coupes were sold in RHD.
Originally supplied new in Hong Kong while it was still a British territory, the car was imported to the UK in 1979. It spent a short period in Norway between 2008 and 2016 before returning to the UK, where it has remained since. A matching numbers example, with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity on file confirming its original specification. Full service history on file, including its original stamped service book and a comprehensive folder of invoices documenting its maintenance over the years. A service and tune up has just been completed, along with four new Michelin tyres and a new Bosch battery.
The car has had a full repaint in its original colour and presents to a high standard, but the car has never required a full restoration and as a result it retains a very honest, genuine feel that sometimes is lost when cars are restored down to the last nut and bolt. The Copper Brown Metallic paint is a particularly attractive period colour and works beautifully with the black leather interior. Sitting on the correct 15 inch Fuchs alloy wheels with new Michelin tyres, the car presents extremely well while retaining much of its original character. Showing just 50, 853 miles, with matching numbers, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, comprehensive history and recent preparation, this is a particularly appealing example of an increasingly sought after air cooled 911.
MOT valid until May 2027 with no advisories.
