An unusual 1973 Triumph Stag MK II, which has been in the current owner's possession for 30 years and has always been very well maintained and correctly serviced by specialist Triumph mechanics. The car is Inca Yellow in colour and was repainted shortly after acquisition, retaining its intense lustre to this day, despite a few corrections to be made. The black mohair canvas roof was also fitted at the same time as the paintwork, acquired new and original from a renowned British company specialising in Triumph parts, currently showing no signs of major wear and totally watertight, with only a very small nick the mica glass in the left-hand bonnet window.
In 2018, the mechanicals were completely rebuilt, with new and original parts purchased from the same supplier as the roof, after resolving some chronic issues with this original 145bhp Triumph 3. 0cc V8 mechanical, which was prone to overheating and a few oil leaks. Problems completely resolved, offering a smooth, flowing ride, allowing the driver to enjoy the impressive sound of this engine. Vehicle with less than 40, 000 km, having covered approximately 10, 000 km in the hands of the current owner over the last 30 years, the majority of which has been done more recently and, in 2022, a major overhaul was carried out with all fluids and braking system changed.
In 2024, 4 new 185/ HR 14 tyres were fitted, on beautiful light alloy rims of the period. This vehicle is certified as a vehicle of historic interest by a competent Portuguese body recognised by F. I. V. A. It is offered with an additional set of period headlights, removed from the vehicle after purchase.
