Lovely MK2, Triumph Stag. Manual O/ D
This stag was bought by the previous owner from a deceased estate 3 years ago. He became the proud owner of this stag when he had purchased the house from the estate and was overwhelmed in finding the stag in the garage. Unfortunately the paperwork was all taken by the previous owner & also the keys. New keys were made the the V5 on his name and address.
He has managed to find a good few previous MOT’s in the glove box dating back to 1983 till 2011. The car was previously Java green but the previous owner in his ownership has the whole car painted and that was done in the early 90’s and still looks absolutely stunning today. She’s had the gearbox fully rebuilt and at the same time brand new clutch also a brand new aluminium radiator from Rimmer Brothers at a cost of £600. All invoice present. She has an excellent red soft top with a good frame. The mileage is now at 61000 miles and I would say genuine if you check through the previous MOT’s. But everyone has their own opinion. The car drives absolutely spot on and prefect working overdrive. She starts up on a single crank and sounds awesome. Engine bay is very clean with chrome cam covers. The interior is also in good condition considering the age with a small tear on the passenger seat. Good hard top with a new red soft top which is in excellent working condition. The wheels have been diamond cut and look stunning and all 4 tyres have plenty of tread. The overall bodywork is in great condition with a few age related marks. The both doors have a bit of bubbling but not rotted. The choke cable needs replacing but a new one will come with the car. The electric windows were working but for some apparent reason have stopped working which I hopefully will get sorted before she sells.
