Description
Originally registered as new in the United States (Arizona) in 1966, this TR4A IRS was imported into France in 1990. The owner undertook a full restoration up to 1993. It was sold in 1993 to a British man living in France who continued the restoration and maintenance until 2015, and it was transferred to the current owner.
General condition: This example is in excellent presentation in every respect; its bodywork has been completely restored, and the mechanicals have benefited from substantial work.
Interior: The cabin is new, the wooden dashboard is new, the carpets are new, the seats trimmed in faux leather and door trim are new, and all instrumentation is functional.
Mechanical: The engine runs well and has been rebuilt; it has covered 20, 000 km (about 12, 400 miles). Gas-assisted rear dampers, the braking system is also in good order and recently serviced. On the gearbox, the gears are well guided and do not crunch. The road manners of this car are excellent.
