On 4 July 1957, the official presentation took place in Turin, where a parade of Fiat 500s with beauty queens on board left the factory to the cheers of the public. At the same time, another column joined Saint Peter’s Square in Rome. It was the birth of a legend.
This Fiat 500 L from the early 1970s is a newer and more luxurious version of the original model. The "L" stands for Lusso, meaning a little more comfort: chrome door trims, a well-appointed interior, a refined dashboard.
